The Rapoza Report

“Shining the light of truth on the offerings of liberal pabulum” – Linda Rapoza

Warning to liberals & RINOs: This column is not for the faint of heart!

Are the low/no-information voters paying any attention to the fact that our own government’s intelligence agencies (whose salaries, perks and pensions are paid for by the taxpayers) are gathering data on everybody? Or are they just too busy revealing their most personal selves on Facebook? Does anybody with a brain still believe that our government’s profiling of Tea Parties, conservative organizations and religious groups is being done for purposes of “national security”?

Who’s stunned by the leftist media’s crocodile tears about how disappointed they are in their Dear Leader, and how shocked they are by what’s being unraveled day by day about this man’s oppressive regime? They’ve been building this for years!

Look, let’s get something straight. Everything about this president was revealed long before he won his party’s primary. The Communist Party endorsed him, for heaven sake! His life story reads like a bad movie. As a child born into a family of communists, he’s been marinating in communism for all of his life. His own grandfather sent him off to Hawaii to be mentored by Frank Davis, and in his own words, he bragged about palling around with Marxist radicals in college.

Yet, even after he told a plumber how important it was for him to “redistribute” the wealth of America through government directives; after he called the Boston police “stupid”; after he label the Tea Parties as “teabaggers” (a vile and sickening sexual connotation he took pleasure in snickering at); after discovering that many of his appointments to his staff included communists, Marxists, Maoists and every other un-American “ist” you could think of; after he went after the Catholic Church and Catholic universities to “modernize” their religious principles, (a classic tyrannical procedure of promoting a truly modern society by replacing religion with the state), he won – twice! (And now we all know how he did it.)

Did the dolts bleating over their hero miss this? No. Did they think that a person who has been openly hostile to the founding of this country was going to turn into a “new and improved” version of Thomas Jefferson? No. They weren’t looking for Thomas Jefferson.

Tyranny doesn’t leap. It creeps. Tyrants don’t just go after their enemies. They just go after their enemies FIRST.

With the help of every appointed department head, he’s taken on one Constitutional Amendment after another, and he’s just getting started. Do establishment Republicans who have sworn to uphold the Constitution have a clue to what’s in it?

Do Republicans need a degree in rocket science to figure out that if an American president regularly converses in speech that indicates his disdain for his country and speaks frequently of “rewarding friends and punishing enemies”, and who has associated himself with people who at one time or another in their lives have committed treason against this country and/or have sought to overthrow it, that nothing bad

is going to happen?

Republicans have had numerous chances to get a handle on this. All they had to start with was the battle plans of Cloward and Piven on overwhelming the system, or even “Rules for Radicals”. Talk about a war strategy. Instead, the establishment chose to go along to get along. So now, here we are.

Get use to it. The America we grew up in is over, and under the present circumstances there’s a darn good chance that America itself may not survive the remainder of this presidency.

We can lay the blame for that directly at the feet of “progressives” in the Republican Party who have not only continued to refuse to operate as the opposition to socialism, but who regularly criticize and chastise those of us who do.

For the first time in decades, thanks to the Tea Parties, we actually have conservative patriots serving as Republicans in the Senate. Yet, courageous constitutional scholars like Senators Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Mike Lee, and a couple of others are continually insulted by repulsive entrenched RINOs like McCain and Graham. We now have at least 70 Republican patriots in the House who are willing to put their careers on the line in order to do what’s right for this country, and instead of having a leader from whom they can draw courage and integrity, they’re stuck with John Boehner, who has the charisma and speaking talents of a blind turtle.

Better to continue to play Whack-a-Mole with a president who wants to challenge every Amendment to the Constitution. Take the left’s push for gun laws, for instance. You could liken it to this administration’s goal for dismantling the 2nd Amendment. We have hundreds of gun laws, many of them redundant. Many of them aren’t even enforced. Why? Well, maybe because if we enforced the gun laws we already have, we wouldn’t need “new” ones. The Republican leadership hasn’t figured this out yet?

Like everything else, we’re marinating in laws and regulations that govern our every thought, decision and behavior. (Who allowed that to happen?) Piece by piece, those very laws and regulations are dismantling our Bill of Rights that were specifically written to provide our liberty. Republican leadership doesn’t see the connection yet?

We’re now on the second generation that’s been trained to seek government’s help first, before attempting to figure anything out on their own. We have a plethora of government.com websites that government-sponsored commercials are peddling to encourage us to seek government’s “help” in our daily lives. Shouldn’t Republicans, who are supposed to stand for smaller government, be against this trend?

Could this regime and its goal for the kind of centralized control that’s blanketing this nation be starting to look like what developed out of the National Socialist German Workers Party? Do Republicans in the leadership read history? Just askin’.

Instead of addressing the disturbing accelerated march towards total control of your thoughts, your words, your desires, your deeds, (which is the definition of a tyrannical regime!) our establishment Republican friends in Washington are falling all over themselves to shove an “immigration” bill down our throats so that Democrats can have even more low/no information voters to prey upon. RINOs tell us that we need more workers because we need more tax revenue. Well, maybe if we hadn’t murdered 50 million Americans through abortion over the last 40 years, we wouldn’t have that problem.

As government-run schools continue to punish children who chew their Pop-Tarts into the shape of a gun, or God-forbid, draw one on a piece of paper; as freaks, who run our government-run schools, indoctrinate Kindergarteners with the notion that if they want to pretend they’re of a different sex, that it’s perfectly normal; as Washington continues to betray the people they pretend to lead; as our government employees and public officials continue to treat us like sheep as they lead us to hell, who’s standing up for us? Who ceded control of our education system to the socialists?

Most of us already know (I hope) that the problems facing this nation began with a vision for socialism, the goal of which was to attack the family at its core. Fatherless children not only become gang members, they not only become prisoners in the world’s largest prison system, but the children they spawn become “wards” of the state through dependency.

Marxist theoretician and architect of the Soviet system of government, Vladimir Lenin, once said “Give me four years to teach the children, and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted”. Have we seen enough yet?

America use to be the country anyone with a dream flocked to. Dreams use to come to fruition here. Socialists disguised as Democrats have destroyed that. Apparently, Republicans can’t get their heads around that fact either. We’ve been leaning left for so long, it was only a matter of time before we turned over. How come we were the only ones ringing the alarm bells? And how did we get run over in the rush?

In 1914, Fabian socialist Graham Wallas wrote “Great Society”. In 1964, President Lyndon Baines Johnson used it as a model to create his fascist utopia in which the state under his direction would legislate “happiness”. Not only legislate it, but guarantee it! It was this country’s first nation-wide fundamental transformation of America.

Dig a little deeper, and you can discover all of this began infecting the system decades ago, as far back as FDR, whose administration (it was discovered through the decryption of the Venona cables in 1995) was filled with communists. Yes, poor McCarthy, albeit clumsily, had it right all along. Whitaker Chambers proved it. And now you’re looking at it. (Do establishment Republicans read history? Nahhh……)

Good Republicans must come to grips with the fact that it’s going to take a lot more than party politics to solve the problems that are overwhelming this nation. The hurdles are taller than ever. Too many of our “Republican” candidates are more interested in doing Democrat impersonations. We’re in too deep now. We’re drowning and nobody’s throwing us a life jacket.

It’s time for courageous (genuine) conservative Republicans to explain in plain English exactly what it means to be a Republican in 2013, and it’s going to take courage for us to defend what it is we stand for as the keepers of this party. Boasting of a talent for “working across the aisle” is no longer an asset for Republican victory. . If Republican candidates can’t stand the heat, who wants them in the kitchen?

I know I sound like a broken record. Those who cringe at what I’ve had to say over the years about the Republican establishment have waved me away as a conspiracy theorist. So be it. I’ve battled them for years. I’ve earned their disdain, and I have the battle scars to prove it.

Take a good look at your country right now. The left’s love affair with communism combined with the progressive’s love affair with the state has brought us to this. The idea that Republicans must address every crummy idea Democrats come up with puts us at a continual disadvantage. Why not just say “NO”, and leave it at that. Why must Republicans continue to entertain Democrats’ piecemeal plots to destroy America?

Why aren’t Republicans leading instead of always following? Partly because of 8 years of a presidency that sought to hang the pejorative “compassionate” around the neck of conservatism, as if conservatism were something to be ashamed of, and as if compromise was to be heralded. “Compromise” is doing a little less of what you believe to be right. Who but the Left wins anything when Republicans base their governance on compromise? We’ve even allowed the word “conservative” to be stolen by the progressives within the Republican Party. The most despicable RINOs are calling themselves “conservatives” now. Establishment Republicans have now become so “open-minded”, their brains are falling out.

When leadership was scarce, Ronald Reagan was a glimmer of hope for a party that had decided to go AWOL. He, Margaret Thatcher and a handful of others pointed to the direction we needed to go, but when the train left the station, Republican leaders weren’t on it because they hated Reagan. They saw him as a “cowboy”.

What we’re looking at right now is a representative republic gone nuts. The party of Lincoln and Reagan are left with only two choices:

  1. Make a final serious effort to take over the Republican Party before it collapses under the weight of its own irrelevance, or
  2. Give in, play dead, keep our heads down… and hide.

I’ve spoken to many conservative friends who are frightened of what’s coming and believe they won’t survive unless they find a place to hide under the radar. The time is coming when we’re all going to be hiding, and if you don’t believe that yet, then you’re still living in establishment-ville.

  1. And yet the slowly sinking Republican party wonders why it polls
so poorly, and cannot govern – with such depth of analysis from the rank and file.

Mostly, voters are filing out as your “leadership” is rank.
    Case in point, Linda Rapoza.

Here’s something you may have overlooked, if you were worthy,
you would have a syndicated column and job at a think tank.

Scare tactics have worn thin, and you’ve nothing else on offer.
