Cape Cod Times Endorses Primary Opponent in 9th District Congressional Race
The Cape Cod Times in their endorsement of Adam Chaprales (Christopher Sheldon’s primary opponent) stated the following:
“During recent editorial board meetings with both GOP candidates, Sheldon was articulate and knowledgeable about several issues, but Chaprales was less ideological than Sheldon. Chaprales embraces more moderate views on immigration, gay marriage, even health care reform.“
The article also stated,
“During recent debates, the two candidates sparred over funding for Planned Parenthood. Sheldon said he would eliminate funding for the program, while Chaprales said there are certain screenings offered for women through Planned Parenthood that should get federal money. At the same time, he said he does not support government funding of abortions. The two candidates also disagreed over immigration. Sheldon criticized Chaprales’ opposition as a selectman to an initiative that would have punished local businesses for hiring illegal immigrants.”

Help Support Chris!
With just 1 week left until the primary election, now is the time to demonstrate to the rest of the state (and country) how serious we are about sending another Massachusetts Business Leader to Washington, D.C.
Can you help by donating $100, $50 or even $25?
Even the smallest donations add up fast, and with your support we can retire Bill Keating (a man first elected to public office when Gerald Ford was President!).
Now that we’re just 1 week from the Thursday September 6th Primary Election, lawn signs can be displayed in any town in the district.
Need a sign?
Send us an email and we’ll have a volunteer deliver one to your house!
Bumper stickers are also available – though the Blue’s are in short supply
