FROM MARTY LAMB:
I am not sure if you heard.
The Massachusetts Republican Party filed a complaint against my opponent for soliciting corporate donations. According to state campaign finance law, candidates are not allowed to accept anything of value from a corporation. It turns out that she took corporate gifts to give to seniors to win votes.
It is against the law. It is disappointing.
And it is unfair.
Can you imagine if I had accepted corporate donations to sway seniors?
How did my opponent answer the questions regarding breaking the rules? She tried to blame me. I am puzzled how her violations are my fault.
Early on in this campaign I proposed a Clean Campaign Pledge. She rejected it. I guess we now know why. It is a win at all cost strategy!
I need your help to level the playing field.
The Office of Campaign and Political Finance will not take action before the election which means she gets all the advantages with none of the consequences.
How can you help?
- Please attend my event with special guest Karyn Polito this Wednesday September 12, 2012
- If you cannot attend, please click here to make a secure donation.
Your continued support is vital to this campaign. She will have the help of the Speaker and the special interest
groups. She has voted with the Speaker 95.37% of the time, so we know where her bread is buttered.
I will not break the rules. I rely on the good friends like you to help me get out my message legally.
Will you help me today level the playing field by making a donation today or attend my event next week?
Thank you for your support.
