Mr. Governor and Legislative Leaders,I applaud my legislators for maintaining publicly available email addresses. Unlike our governor, who hides behind a contact form on the governor’s website. This issue requires collective cooperation and is urgent
. I have copied the governor’s PAC in the hopes this will reach him. I couldn’t be arsed to fill out his form. For those copied here who may have more direct contact with him please let him know what’s going on in the homeland. The DCF action regarding Justina Pelletier is intolerable. Representative Mirra has filed Bill HR 4212 [by request] to remedy this ongoing travesty and immediate threat to the Commonwealth’s Citizens. The governor has repeatedly voiced his
support of DCF – despite repeated documented incompetencies. The Legislature must take immediate action on HR 4212 to protect its citizens against unreasonable government interference, search and seizure – and likely violations of Massachusetts and United States Constitutional Rights. In good conscientious – you cannot allow this to continue. Please make this right and return Justina to her parents immediately. Please also never let this happen again: Amend DCF authority and privacy to make more transparent. It is clear to me that DCF criteria is like a spider web. Too far reaching and self justifying with too many cozy relationships with local ADA and judges. This needs a complete revamp. Kevin Wood
