In spite of the proclivity of all NBC networks to “Lean Forward” (buzz phrase for Socialist R Us), the numbers paint a horrific picture of Massachusetts’ economic climate.

But it gets worse, we a lagging in comparison to last year and other states in every major economic indicator. We are now the 2nd most expensive State in the Union in which to do operate a business. Our business environment is 21st having dropped from 15th in one year.

I’ll let you read the rest of the sorry statistics in the spreadsheet below. Suffice it to say we desperately need to change course this November. We must elect more solid conservative candidates to both houses of our State Legislature. And we need to hold everyone’s feet to the fire least they become complacent. Massachusetts can be just as competitive as any other state. All it will take is little commonsense.
