Definitions used on this website: Pro- 2nd Amendment = supports individual's gun rights Enforce Immigration Laws = oppose drivers license, free tuition and benefits for illegals Pro-Family = pro-child: supports marriage between one man and one woman as he/she would not deny a child the fundamental right to have a mother, or a father; supports parent rights over state rights especially with education in our schools Pro-Life = supports full term protection and birth of babies, against support of tax dollars for abortion MOST INTERESTING EVENT OF THE CAMPAIGN: Boston's PRIDE PARADE Baker supporters were in full force at the Pride Parade. The event ranged from serious to sureal. Baker, who's campaign has been especially focused on gay-rights was most prominent (when it began raining, he donned a yellow raincoat), marching in the parade as this is a very high priority of his and his running mate Tisei in the campaign. Gov. Deval Patrick, who has made a point to note that he has lesbian daughter, was also, once again, a supporter of the parade events. Appears Baker is as supportive, if not more supportive of the homosexual agenda as is Patrick. So, it's a tossup between them. In contrast, Cahill appears to be focusing on the state's job market and finances. That's the Baker/Tisei team with Know-Thy-Neighbor homosexual activist founders marching the Gay Pride Parade 2010. That said, I'm opposed to Partial Birth Abortion, and support Parental Notification up to age 18. Running mate Richard Tisei "is a cosponsor of HB 1728, the “transgender rights” or “bathroom bill,” a bill that would open public restrooms, locker rooms and other private areas to anyone of any gender regardless of biological sex. I did believe that the issue should have gone to the ballot and let the People decide." 2. As for women’s rights, it too is the law. I do not believe in partial birth abortions and I do support parental rights. "Christy supports the use of adult stem cells in scientific research. However, he opposes embryonic stem cell research,which are harvested living embryos, a process that destroys the embryo. Christy opposes the Massachusetts proposed legislation that would expand to 35 feet, the so-called "buffer zone" around abortion clinics. This violates the first amendment freedom of speech for sidewalk counselors. Christy opposes the use of public funds for abortions."
Tim Cahill(I)	NO	unclear	YES	unclear	NO	NO BUT BETTER THAN THE OTHERS.	* In March 2010, all indications were that Tim Cahill was pro-choice. Here's what he had on his website listed under "Core Values": "I believe in and support a women's right to choose. I also believe that abortion should be safe, legal, and rare." Fast forward to July 2010, and he's submitted a survey to MCFL, met with them, and they've now endorsed him. We'll wait to see the fallout. Looks like a flip/flop. But, at least he isn't Baker or Patrick on this topic. UPDATE FROM MCFL: The State PAC has asked us to share with you this statement of theirs "There has been some confusion regarding the endorsement of Tim Cahill by the MCFL State PAC. The PAC endorsed the Cahill-Loscocco ticket because the ticket is the best choice to advance the pro-life cause. Tim Cahill made clear in two different meetings with the PAC that, while he believes that Roe is settled law, he supports parental notification, tax credits for adoptions, and as Governor he will sign pro-life legislation such as A Woman's Right to Know, a state Partial Birth Abortion Ban, and legislation making the preborn child the second victim when a pregnant woman is the victim of violence. He will also veto Physician Assisted Suicide and other anti-life legislation. As Governor, Tim Cahill will work to create a culture of life across Massachusetts. In both meetings, Cahill was forthright, candid and thoughtful. When looking at the candidates, the choice was clear. Deval Patrick is the most pro-abortion Governor in Massachusetts history. Charlie Baker did not return MCFL's candidate questionnaire. He picked a running mate, Richard Tisei, who has a long pro-abortion voting record. Baker has stated that he is 'to the left of Barack Obama on social issues.' It is clear that Baker would not be a friend to life. MCFL State PAC is a non-partisan group which supports the candidate most likely to help advance the cause of life. We are proud to have endorsed Tim Cahill. We look forward to seeing him elected Governor this Fall."
Grace Ross (D) nope, didn't get enough signatures to get on the ballot...				NO	NO	NO	Grace ran before. Got zippo support. She is, however, worthy of a few notes, particularly concerning the discussion of anti-semitism. A few notes from Wikipedia: "John DePetro, a talk show host on WRKO in Boston, was fired on November 3, 2006, after calling Ross a "fat lesbian" on his talk show.[11] " (NOTE: John maintained that it is 1. True that she is fat. 2. True that she is a lesbian. WRKO has been rumored to be notorious for throttling any radio personality regarding certain hot-topics...we would love to have details if an insider wants to cough it up...). "She has been criticized by some Jewish Leaders as holding anti-semitic views and for her controversial stances on genocide in Darfur, Sudan. [12][13][14] Ross's Green Rainbow Party supports full divestment from Israel and does not recognize the State of Israel."

Richard R. Tisei BAKER's RUNNING MATE.	NO	YES	YES	Leaning*	NO	NO	ENDORSED a DEMOCRAT against a Republican back in 2007. Typically labeled a "RINO" for his "Republican In Name Only" positions. *Ratings each year from CLT run from A to B to C to D to F. Past few years he's been fine. He has voted against some higher-profile tax increases. We've updgraded him from his 2001 lows of a solid D to a "leaning" to reflect his recent changes of heart. He pulled a solid 100% A in 2009 just prior to announcing his run for Lt. Gov. Hmmm..... Not also that as of last notice, he's against the ballot question to roll back the state's sales tax. Tisei announced to run for Lt.
