The Rapoza Report
“Shining the light of truth on the offerings of liberal pabulum” – Linda Rapoza
Warning to liberals & RINOs: This column is not for the faint of heart!
Mitt Romney: “I badly want Obamacare to go away, and stripping it of funds has appeal. But we need to exercise great care about any talk of shutting down government. What would come next when soldiers aren’t paid, when seniors fear for their Medicare and Social Security, and when the FBI is off duty?” He continued, “I’m afraid that in the final analysis, Obamacare would get its funding, our party would suffer in the next elections, and the people of the nation would not be happy. I think there are better ways to remove Obamacare.”
What this nation “needs” are more public servants like Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, Rand Paul and numerous other patriots who came into Congress believing in the people of this nation more than they believed in themselves; patriots who have kept their promise to the people who elected them; patriots who understand that nothing, not even their own re-election, is more
important than bringing relief to a nation suffering under policies that are anathema to what America stands for and which the Republican establishment now endorses through their cooperation! Genuine Republicans
have NO business funding this!
Those “nasty” constitutionalists the establishment has so much disdain for, who were swept into office in 2010 on the promise that they would get rid of Obamacare, are doing exactly what they were elected to do. Republicans “suffer” in elections when weasels who still get away with calling themselves “Republicans” elbow their way into primaries in order to get themselves crowned by Republican establishment jesters for the purpose of life-time careers in Washington.
If there were “better ways” of removing Obamacare, wouldn’t RINOs have thought of some by now? While establishment Republicans were examining the lint in their belly-buttons, the people of this nation who were already unhappy with Republican fakers did think of a way to get rid of Obamacare. They elected real Republicans to do the task precisely because those Republicans promised that that’s what they would do! Pretty simple, huh?
For Romney to say he would like to see Obamacare “go away” is disingenuous because he knows it will never “go away” on its own. He had a chance to convince the nation that he was as serious as they were about the danger of socialized health care when he ran for president, but because he instigated its birth as governor of Massachusetts, he was advised to button his lip. While he remained silent on the issue, the Marxists swept the floor with him. Conservative Republicans, given no reason to vote for him over Obama, stayed home.
If Romney and his Republican establishment buddies (and we all know who they are) can’t muster up the guts to fight for the principles of what it is to be a Republican, then it’s time for all of them to get off the stage. CLICK TO READ MORE….
